How to Interpret Results

After your child completes the assessment, you mark what spot in the passage they read until and record how many words they skipped/read incorrectly. You will then see a clear results screen.

The results may show that your child’s reading fluency matches or exceeds expectations for their grade. This means they are building strong foundational skills and are on the right path.

The results may indicate that your child is reading below the expected level for their grade. This does not mean your child cannot succeed. It simply signals that they may need extra support. In these cases, 1:1 instruction is often the most effective way to help children catch up and get back on track.
