For Pip School, you'll need access to an iPad. Many Sprout Labs customers choose to purchase a refurbished iPad, or borrow one from a family friend if they don't have one at home. For tutoring sessions, you'll need access to a computer, a stable internet connection, and Zoom.

The length of the program is entirely dependent on the child, but with regular practice, kids make meaningful progress in their first month! Your Reading Specialist will help you estimate how long it might take for your child to reach the goals established in their school-readiness plan. Most families invest in a Sprout Labs summer program for at least three months. Many choose to continue their subscription for a few months into the school year to support their child's learning at home while the academic year picks back up.
