Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I refer a patient?

The family receives an email invitation to meet with a Sprout Labs team member to explore the right program for their child.

How is Sprout Labs different from other reading apps?

Most edtech is designed for neurotypical learners. Sprout Labs was built with and for neurodivergent kids from day one with multiple pathways to mastery and AI that adapts how it teaches, not just what it teaches.

Does this replace my sessions with the patient?

No. It complements them. Think of Sprout Labs as high-quality daily practice between your sessions. You get progress data to inform your clinical planning.

I'm not an SLP. Can I still refer patients?

Absolutely. Reading tutors, special education teachers, psychologists, and other practitioners who work with struggling readers can all refer patients and access progress monitoring with parent permission.

How do I know which program is best?

Once you refer a child, our team will set up a quick call with the family to explore our programs and help guide them to the best fit.
